We recently returned from an incredible 3-day SaaS Academy Intensive. The sessions were packed with insight—but the real gold came from the conversations.

Founder to founder. In the hallways, over lunch, and late into the night. Two themes came up again and again:

1. The Relentless Time Crunch

“I don’t have enough time.”

“My inbox is a black hole.”

“I’m drowning.” These weren’t one-off complaints. They were the chorus.

2. The Delegation Dilemma

Even successful founders struggle to let go.

Sales, hiring, operations—there’s fear around handing over the reins.

And it’s understandable. But here’s the paradox: The very things that overwhelm you are often the exact things you need to delegate to unlock your next level.

The Power of Multiplication (Not Addition) Let’s say you’re still the main salesperson. That’s likely 25% of your time—if not more. Imagine reclaiming that.

What could you do with an extra day every week? Now extend that to marketing, ops, product... When you delegate strategically, you don’t just lighten your load—you multiply your output. This isn’t about working less.

It’s about focusing on what only you can do: vision, leadership, and driving growth.

Try. Test. Adjust. Repeat. Delegation doesn’t happen all at once.

It’s a cycle: Try: Start with one area. Test: Delegate it. See what works. Adjust: Tweak based on results. Repeat: Keep looking for leverage points. It’s not a one-time move—it’s a system you build over time.

The Hidden Cost of Overwhelm 80-hour weeks might feel noble, but they come with a cost. Burnout leads to bad decisions.

Relationships suffer.

And let’s be honest—your creativity and leadership start to fade. Founders think they’re being scrappy.

But often, they’re just stuck in the loop.

The Takeaway Scaling your SaaS company isn’t about doing more.

It’s about doing less—strategically. Reclaim your time.

Multiply your impact.

And step into the founder role your business actually needs. The founders in Boston got it.
