1. MODEL the Behavior You Want to See

Your team is always watching—what you do matters more than what you say.

If you want a team that’s on time, be early. If you expect transparency, model it. If you want them to hustle, show that energy yourself.

Modeling goes beyond major moments. It’s in how you listen. How you treat others. How you respond to pressure. These daily habits set the tone.

Try this:

  • Run a self-awareness audit—are you demonstrating what you expect?
  • Walk the talk—align your words and actions.
  • Be intentional—your behavior becomes the blueprint.

2. CONNECT with the People You Lead

Leadership isn’t about giving orders. It’s about building trust.

Take time to know your people—what drives them, what blocks them, what they care about. Your team won’t follow you if they don’t believe you see them.
